Social Media Accounts: One Site Houses ALL!

Social Media: it's spreading like wildfire! Every day there is some new Social Media website appearing either in connection with your current social media platforms or a brand new site pleading to break into the Social Media Globasphere (I think I simply made that word up).

If you're anything like me, borderline techie (ok, that's a lie-- I am a complete blown techie), then you cannot get enough of the endless possibilities on the internet today.

If you have a company, big or small, and you do not have a social media presence, you are missing out on a HUGE piece of the market. There are very few sectors or businesses immune to this, and chances are, if you're not included in the social media "globasphere" (Global Sphere), your competitors are!

The quest begins: You choose to take your business to the next level and add to your currently existing Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts. You start with Google +, then YouTube (the 2nd largest social media website by the way, and a great method to rate in the search engines), then you include a Facebook Fan Page, possibly even a Social store and before you know it, you are linked to 20 different social media accounts-- some linked to your personal details and some linked to your company details.

UHHH-- when did all this become so confusing? How can you keep track? Just how irritating is it to tell all your hookups and prospective hookups to discover you on Facebook.com, Twitter.com, LinkedIn.com, Klout.com, Google +, About.me, Instagram, Foursquare, YouTube, Blogger, WordPress, Squidoo, EmpireAvenue.com, kred.com, Twylah.com and the listing goes on and on!

The good news: Along with the addition of social media networking websites has come the creation of sites that house all your links on ONE effortless page. Not only is it troublesome to try to share all these different links with everybody you are trying to network with, lots of people are having a problem monitoring all their social media accounts! That is why these impressive, mini sites have been produced.

My personal preference is about.me. It is imaginative, yet straightforward and to the point with a location for a quick Bio. It houses a majority of the social media websites out there with apps and icons you include right to the front page. You can easily add your very own links if you want to share an internet site or blog site. It is growing quickly and now can conveniently be carried out right into your blog site and other websites.

Another one of my absolute preferences sites it called Twylah. It is still in beta phase and has a couple kinks to sort through, however this platform is pure genius.

"Twylah brings your brand name message into focus, expands the life of your tweets, and assists you get discovered past Twitter."

There is another similar site to Twylah called kred.com. It pretty much does the same thing as it, too, pulls your tweets from Twitter and attempts to bring them to life on one page.

Bottom line is this: to house all your social media websites on one web page check out:
  • About.me
  • Xeeme.com
  • FullyFollow.me (As of right now, FullyFollow. me appears to have a bug that is not permitting people to connect to LinkedIn, but FB and Twitter appear to be working well.)
And, again, to make your tweets more user-friendly and appealing, have a look at kred.com and Twylah.com
